Meet the teamWe would like to introduce you to the key members of Evans and Mondon Ltd.  Andy started in the industry 30 years ago as a trainee with the 600 Group, eventually to be promoted to a senior manager with one of the industry giants. In October 2000 he brought a 50% shareholding in Evans and Mondon Ltd. Introducing new business, he has made radical changes and as Company Secretary is responsible for the commercial, financial and administrative well being of the company. Spending much of his time on the road, Andy responds to new enquiries whilst assessing and managing projects, visiting customers and suppliers.  Jack joined the family firm from school and has 40 years experience in the industry. It was quickly apparent that he enjoyed the physical side of the business and involved himself in processing. He is a versatile crane operator and HGV driver, his responsibilities include the day to day running of the yard, managing the workforce, processing and sorting of material and transport.  November 2006 witnessed another exciting development for Evans & Mondon with the addition of Mike Alldrit to the senior management team. Mike is a well known and respected figure in the Industry starting in 1969 with Coopers metals, and in 1985 was appointed as a Main Board Director of what was then, the largest Metal recycling company in the UK. Mike is responsible for setting up and promoting a non-ferrous division, and brings his considerable experience to help the business grow and quickly become a serious player in this exciting new development.  In keeping with the companies family tradition Jemma joined the business having studied bookkeeping and continues to study for a Diploma in accounting. She is also the Company qualified first aider and offers invaluable back office support for the management team. WORKFORCE Evans and Mondon are a traditional family run business and most of the staff has been with the business for many years. The loyalty and respect showed to our suppliers and customers is also shown to our employees. Some of our key operatives have been with the company for over 30 years. |
